key to discussing directors is their distinctive style; draw upon auteur theory - and perhaps explore links with film industry (many make a name thru MVids 1st), but also crucially: have YOU adopted any aspects of anyone's style???
I saw a post on influences in my dashboard but its vanished: on it, you were writing past tense - thats evaluating use of conventions NOT influences; something you look at after the fact obviously has had zero influence!!!
